The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is the oldest and the most important professional gastronomic society in the world. It is an international brotherhood that promotes integration of culinary and hospitality professionals, among them leading chefs, famous restaurants and prestigious hotels, with culinary enthusiasts that do not compromise on quality and appreciate gourmet cuisine, quality wines and fine dining.
The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs heritage arrived to Israel in 1956 with the establishment of the Gastronomic Association which in 1965 official became the Israeli Bailliage of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. Today it is the most exclusive culinary members club, allowing entry only by invitation or recommendation of one of the existing members.

מסדר אבירי הגריל הינו הארגון הוותיק והגסטרונומי המקצועי החשוב ביותר בעולם. זוהי אחווה בינלאומית המקדמת אינטגרציה בין אנשי מקצוע מתחום הקולינריה והאירוח, ביניהם שפים מובילים, מסעדות מפורסמות ומלונות יוקרתיים, עם חובבי קולינריה שאינם מתפשרים על איכות ומעריכים מטבח גורמה, יינות איכותיים ואוכל משובח.
בישראל מורשת המסדר מגיעה עד לשנת 1956 עם ייסוד החוג הגסטרונומי ובאופן רשמי נוסד המסדר הישראלי בשנת 1965. כיום מנוהל המסדר כמועדון חברים אקסקלוסיבי סגור המאפשר כניסת חברים רק על ידי הזמנה או המלצה של אחד מחברי המסדר.
